Brick Lane Entertainment, a newly formed partnership between LA based Convoke Media and Ireland’s Brick Lane Pictures, is a full-service sales and production company, led by industry veterans Todd Slater and Brandon Evans and focused on the financing and incentive funding of films, as well as sales and distribution representation. Brick Lane Entertainment is a turn-key solution to all production, financing, sales and distribution needs from its dual headquarters in Los Angeles and Dublin, Ireland. The company’s experience and expertise include sales, marketing and the production of commercial films, television and multi-media content to the global market.
Brick Lane Entertainment has long lasting relationships with both North American and international distribution companies. The company’s management team has been highly successful in representing and closing numerous worldwide deals with Paramount, Netflix, Hulu, IFC, Universal, Vertical, Tubi and many others.

Todd Slater Partner
Todd Slater is recognized as one of the top digital and entertainment executives in the media and technology sector. Areas of expertise include media and film transactions, acquisitions and negotiation of content rights, investment analysis, and the structuring of media financing. During his career he has helped finance or secure worldwide distribution for over 100 films and has successfully led capital investments in multiple digital, media and sports ventures.
Slater is the former executive vice president at Philip Anschutz’s (AEG) Media Company, and Paramount Pictures. Slater has been associated with such films as the Academy Award winning Ray (starring Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx), The Parts You Lose – starring Aaron Paul, Madame – starring Academy Award nominee Toni Collette, Sahara – co-starring Academy Award winners Matthew Mcconaughey and Penelope Cruz, and Swimming Upstream – starring Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush. Slater has been highlighted in the Hollywood reporter’s annual “The Next Generation” issue – dedicated to the top executives in Hollywood.
Prior to joining Paramount, Slater made his mark in the world of finance and politics having worked for UBS Private Wealth Division, as well as the investment banking division of Meridian Capital. Before moving to the west coast, Slater lived in Washington, DC and worked for United States congressman, Peter Blute, as well as United States congressman, Sherwood Boehlert.

Brandon Evans Partner
Brandon Evans has over 30 years of experience in the music, film, and television industry, having worked in North America, Asia, and Europe. Before he went into film and television, he spent nine years in the music working in Marketing and Corporate Sponsorship Worldwide with top artists: (Eagles, Seal, Elton John, Alicia Keys, Pink, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac, Cirque du Soleil etc…) Brandon then focused on corporate product placing for film and television (projects such as “Hitch”, “Men in Black”, “Must Love Dogs”, “Failure to Launch”, “Prime”, “Dog Town and Z-Boys”, “Vans” Triple Crown Series and “Vans” Warped Tours.
His career included the production and financing of projects from “Big Bear” – starring Pablo Schreiber, Adam Brody, Tyler Labine (Theatrical, Netflix Worldwide) to “Bloodsucking Bastards” – starring Pedro Pascal (Theatrical, Village Roadshow, Entertainment One, Showtime), “Shelby”, – starring Chevy Chase, Rob Schneider (Anchor Bay, Starz) and “Pete’s Christmas” – starring Bruce Dern, Molly Parker (Showtime and Anchor Bay) “Dogtown and Z-Boys”, starring Sean Penn (Sony Pictures Classics.) Brandon’s films have received 13 nominations to date.
Brandon is currently working on several film and television projects including “My Dad’s A Famous Movie Star” with Andy Fickman, “Lion’s Den” with Jesse V. Johnson, “The Erotic Book Club” and “Gowan’s Promise” with Matthew Hastings, “The Adventures of Phineas Finn” with Michael Dobbs and David Puttnam, “The Bagman.” with Geroge Gallo and “Step On” with Elaine Cassidy and Stephen Lord.
